SAFED is a nationally recognised programme to promote Safer and Fuel Efficient Driving. Introduced in 2006 by DfT to improve fuel consumption for LCV fleets, it is a Government-backed recognised training format with proven results.

The course has been designed to demonstrate fuel economy best practise for light commercial vehicles. Delegates who have participated in this programme and successfully put into practice the learning have shown a reduction of 16% on MPG (miles per gallon).
