Knowledge Dock Centre, Docklands Campus, University of East London After the success of the 2010 Coaching and driving conference hosted by the University of East London, we are organising a follow up event. This year's conference again draws some of the most popular names from the driving industry including Sir John Whitmore and Dr Jonathan Passmore who will share with delegates their thinking on coaching and coaching research. 

Keynote sessions include Ian Shannon, Deputy Chief Police Constable from North Wales and ACPO lead on driving. He will be speaking about the police's approach to driver development and their latest thinking. Dr Heli Ainjarv, Estonia University, is a leading driving safety researcher and her session will focus on coaching and driver safety in Estonia and Trevor Wedge, Chief Examiner from the DSA. This year's conference also includes practical sessions for those looking to help improve their coaching skills in driver development.

Sadie Wigley, Safedrive – The experience of the UK insurance industry

John Farlam (ADI & Author) – Using feedback for learning

Sue McCormack – Teaching coaching skills to ADI's

Simon Elstow – The IAM approach to driver safety and learning
