corp-cycling-header-01With a growing interest in cycling as a leisure activity, rising fuel prices and increasing pressures being placed on inner city driving, the UK's demand for commuter cycling has never been so strong.

In this changing climate, it makes sense for employers to encourage staff to consider the advantages of cycling to work, and in doing so, ensure confidence and safety in their journey. IAM Drive & Survive's Cycle Training programme is designed to do just that, whether your employees are experienced cycling commuters comfortable with complex challenges or inexperienced or lapsed cyclists.

As well as creating a happy and healthy workforce, employers can expect to benefit through:

  • Reduced company or private vehicle use resulting in lower employee overheads
  • Demonstrating an ongoing commitment to employee duty of care
  • A reduction in carbon footprint
  • Actively demonstrating Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
  • Increased productivity resulting from improved concentration and heightened alertness in the workplace

Whether new to cycling or a frequent cyclist wanting a few extra hints and tips, IAM Drive & Survive cycle training will be of real benefit to your commuter workforce. Three levels of coaching allows employees to begin training at the most appropriate point for them, whether that be covering basic skills in a safe off-road environment, or cycling on-road in challenging conditions.

IAM Cycle Training is available in the following three levels:
